"How
I Used An 'Old' Piece Of Software In
I am as guilty as the next man on this... I am always buying new products to help further my education and online business. I have loads of ebooks and software products on my PC, and I just know I'm not using them to their maximum potential. I'm trying to do something about that by gradually having another look at those old ebooks and dormant bits of software, which I haven't used in ages. I'm also looking at what I use regularly to see if I could maybe do things in a different way, and better way. A discovery Here's a discovery I made after using a bit of software that I have used many, many times. It's a very popular bit of software called AdWord Analyzer, and there's a good chance you may already own it. Personally, I bought AdWord Analyzer to help me find profitable niche markets, that doesn't have too many people using Google AdWords to market to that niche. The idea being, that if I find a potentially profitable niche, I can use AdWords to market affiliate products, without there being too much competition. If you don't know what AdWords is, have a read of Google's info page here: https://adwords.google.com/select/index.html Anyway, to cut a long story short, I have been using AdWord Analyzer regularly for at least 10 months, and I have been overlooking some really important data that has been staring me in the eyes all this time! Stupid or what? Thing is, it seems that I'm not the only one! Before AdWords came on the scene, everyone was hell bent on trying to build web pages that contained popular keywords, with the intention of getting traffic from the search engines when people search for those keywords. AdWords has made people lazy to a degree, me included Now, when a lot of people start to market a new product, they don't think about the normal search engine traffic. They just start placing loads of AdWords ads for the keywords they are targeting. Here's the thing After having a 'GOOD LOOK' at AdWord Analyzer again, and I don't mean all the advanced features, I mean just looking at the main data is throws out I found some truly amazing opportunities! I had been using AdWord Analyzer in one particular way, looking for one particular type of information. Had I looked at the whole picture I would have seen a much better way to target these niche markets. Here's what I found
Here's why this info is so useful to me These advertisers are paying good money to target these keywords. In some cases there are 8, 16, 24,32 even 40 to 50 plus AdWords ads for certain keywords that only have a few hundred web pages with that exact phrase on. With just a little bit of search engine optimisation (SEO) knowledge, I could easily get a web page listed on Google's first page of results for many of these keywords. For many phrases I could almost certainly gain the number one position, and gets loads of free traffic for keywords that advertisers are falling over themselves to pay for. I think it's about time I gave you a few examples of the info I found. Now, I must apologize because I'm not going to tell you the keywords this data is for. If I tell you, and everyone else on my list, I will be shooting myself in the foot and creating a ton of competition for myself. Anyway, I hope you will find this data interesting. This is just a cross section of thousands of keywords I have been researching:
I'm sorry it's not in any order, that's just the way I copied them down as I picked them out. First of all, it's amazing how many people are paying to advertise using AdWords, when there are so few competing web pages for those exact keyword phrases. Take a look at 'keyword 13'. 1280 searches last month, NO competing web pages, but 21 people paying per click with AdWords. Unbelievable when you think about. Then look at 'keyword 6'. Granted, only 323 searches, but 35 AdWords advertisers with NO competing web pages with that exact phrase on! When there are NO competing web pages, all you virtually have to do is put that phrase on a web page to get into first position in Google's search results. (once it has been indexed by Google of course). When someone searches for that phrase on Google, there will be just little old you on the left of the page, then all the pay per click ads on the right. Who is going to get all the traffic 'without' paying? 'YOU'. I must admit that when I first saw these results in AdWord Analyzer I thought 'no way', there must be more web pages with that phrase on. However, sure enough, I went to Google typed in all the phrases in the list above, and there was exactly the same amount of web pages as shown in the data displayed in AdWord Analyzer. What am I doing with this information? Well, I have found plenty of affiliate programs that target the keywords I have discovered. I found many of them by just looking at the AdWords ads, which were being displayed when I typed in the keywords into Google. Over the last few weeks, I have built information pages that target these keywords. I started with the ones that get the most traffic, and added more as I go along. Each web page targets one particular phrase. I promote one relating affiliate product and display Google's AdSense ads on each page. As there are plenty of pay per click advertisers for these keywords, the amount I earn per click from AdSense is looking pretty good (although it's still very early days as I've only just started getting clicks on the ads). All the keywords I'm showing data from above are related to the same niche market. So my site is all very tightly focused for that niche. It's still early days, as the pages are only just starting to get indexed by Google. However, as some of the keyword phrases have literally NO competition, I already have some web pages in first place that are starting to get traffic. Do you have your own copy of AdWord Analyzer? If you already have AdWord Analyzer maybe you have already been using it in the way I have just mentioned. If you haven't, maybe it's time to open it up again and start looking at the data it produces in a different way. If you don't yet own a copy of AdWord Analyzer here's a link to their site: Click here ==> AdWord Analyzer That's all for today, I hope you find some inspiration from what I've done. Speak to you next week,
